From The Yosemite West Guardrail

This is a brilliant day of blue sky and white, puffy clouds.

We enjoy seeing the forest around us as the storm breaks. We see light streaming between the clouds ~illuminating the hills so beautifully. The land is glowing with beauty. The sunlit hills and meadows are spellbinding. A river of low clouds appear to be magically flowing towards Yosemite Valley.

At 6,000 feet, Yosemite West is that special place for those seeking a quiet mountain wilderness setting…a private community directly adjacent to the western border of Yosemite National Park …hence its name, YOSEMITE WEST.
