Description
The Sequoias East is a duplex property with two identical side by side,1600 square foot, three bedroom two-bath townhouses.
The main floor consists of a kitchen, dining/living area, a bedroom and bath as well as deck access, with great forest mountain views! The kitchen is modern with granite counter tops, knotty alder cabinets. The living room has a leather sectional, propane fireplace and a 47 inch flat screen HDTV/DVD, Satellite, and satellite WiFi (the wifi speed in unreliable for video streaming and video calling). . The dining area has a table and six chairs (expandable with a leaf and fold out chairs) and two counter bar stools, The main floor bedroom has a Cal King bed. The deck is 200 square feet.
A gas grill and out door dining table are provided in the spring, summer and fall. The lower floor has two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a twin/full bunk bed, a second bathroom and a second living/TV room with a 32 inch flat screen TV with standard definition (great for the kids!). This second living TV room has a very comfortable futon. There is 3 parking spots all year long.
Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, cable isn’t available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite based Internet system, and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

Very confortable and well located house. It has a lot of kitchen utensilis to cook whatever you want. The only thing we were missing a broom and some rata to maintain a lintel bit the house.

great overnight location in Yosemite. Close proximity to Glacier Point. Property parking (3 per unit and level to entry door without any stairs to haul in luggages) is one of the best among all the cabins we have visited in this area. Fully functioned kitchen with many (and extra) utensils/tools. Clean and spacious interior.

The house was very clean and well situated. It had everything we needed -- a kitchen with everything we needed to cook. Especially appreciated the gas grill, since it was so nice out, we grilled both nights. I've already been telling friends about "Yosemite West."

Very peaceful setting and a bonus that it is within the park already and only a few minutes to Valley floor! Very clean accommodations and so nice to be
able to BBQ on the outside propane grill.

I was so impressed with my overall experience. You run an excellent management company with great communication. I will highly recommend renting through you to friends.
In regards to the cabin, everything was clean and comfortable. I would recommend putting a thicker floor mat near the front door and also having one next to the upstairs slider for drying off your feet when coming in and out of the house. It would have also been nice to have either hooks near the front door to hang jackets or more hangers in the closets. I would also recommend having the knives in the kitchens sharpened every once in awhile. Other than that it was a great stay!

Great things about our stay - the location! Didn't truly appreciate how fantastic it was until we got there and started dealing with the realities of the distances that need to be covered in the park. Loved the grill and deck space and the kitchen was very well equipped for making simple meals. The property was very homey but did need some updating - specifically the pillows throughout and the mattress in the room with the bunk beds. The full size mattress on the bottom bunk was actually concave and my older daughter ended up sleeping on the pullout futon in the downstairs family room. The brown carpet in certain areas of the home also made it feel dirty when it was in fact, very clean. While we were there, there was an issue with the smoke detector in the property. The battery began chirping at about 3:00 am. While ideally that wouldn't happen, I can't thank the staff enough for how it was handled. I called the emergency number and help arrived within 10 minutes. Although nothing could be done about the battery in the middle of the night, I was deeply appreciative of how prompt the response was and how helpful everyone was. I would absolutely recommend renting a Scenic Wonders property to a friend.
