Description
Hikers Hideaway is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a remote part of Yosemite West. Snuggled in a grove of Yosemite Sugar Pines and Dogwood trees, this mountain cabin sleeps 8 comfortably and offers you 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths. With Satellite Base Wifi, Laundry facilities, Satellite TV, centrally located inside Yosemite Par, in an area called Yosemite West.
The lower level has two bedrooms, one with one queen bed, and the other with two twin beds. A full-size bathroom and laundry facilities.
On the second floor there is a bright living room, with a TV/DVD Satellite, a sofa bed, and a powder room. There is a dining area, next to a spacious kitchen. Patio deck overlooks the forest and has deck furniture and a propane BBQ for your outdoor entertainment. Satellite internet is free but is not fast enough for reliable video streaming and video calling. The master bedroom located on the second level has a king size bed and a master bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub. There are 2 parking spots all year, and 1 parking spot sometimes over winter months

Great stay overall, only thing that was tough was the heat and no AC. Not the fault of the place since I understand that for the most part it is cooler due to the elevation but we happened to stay during a very hot weekend.

The person who made changes to my reservation. (Scott) was extremely understanding and took care of my needs immediately. The cabin was very clean and in a wonderful location. It was heart breaking to see the damage the wildfires made, however that’s out of scenic wonders hands. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Absolutely no complaints.

Loved the well stocked kitchen.
Shower head was rough
Master bedroom bed was made out of 2 bases that were not the same height and made the bed uncomfortable.
An extra couch would have been nice especially for a party of 6.

Everything from booking the reservation thru the stay was as expected. Place was nice, owner was responsive. We had to call the support # when we arrived, and they were able to get our entry access code in seconds. Great experience

Three generations of my family stayed at Hikers Hideaway for four nights. The five of us were very pleased with the accommodations, including it’s location, comfort, cleanliness, kitchen supplies, and decorations. I highly recommend this house to other families who visit Yosemite National Park!
I would suggest, however, that the owners add some more comfortable chairs to the living room.

My son and I came up to attend a walk and discussion with a ranger and a conservancy specialist regarding the orchards in the valley. We also took a couple of hikes, though I should have gotten better used to the altitude before hiking...
Cabin was quite nice and it seems they thought of everything - even a coffee maker and filters for it.
Very much enjoyed the photos of Yosemite posted in the cabin.
One thing on the cabin itself - it really needs a new coat of paint on the entry stairs and the deck.

Accommodations were clean and very nice with an incredibly easy check in and out process. Management picked up immediately when we called for a status update on a scheduled power outage. The location is close to our favorite Yosemite sites. We’ve stayed in this rental before and definitely would again.

We enjoyed our stay in the Hiker's Hideaway. Outstanding location and very comfortable. Just the right size for our family of 6. There are some things that I would like to mention that would improve anyone's stay. First, when I stepped out of the car upon our arrival, I first noticed that the exterior was in need of painting. Peeling paint and bare wood does not make a good impression, especially with the amount of money spent. The interior was also in need of some tender loving care with a fresh coat of paint. I also noticed mold was growing behind the kitchen sink faucet between the sink and back splash. The last thing that the owner should address is the patio furniture. Some of the chairs were so weathered beaten that there was a deteriorating plastic film that would rub off onto you clothing. If some of these issues were addressed, I would not hesitate to rent the Hiker's Hideaway when we return to Yosemite in two years. Location was great. We stayed in Hikers Hideaway..it was clean and comfortable but really needs to be updated. Towels were mismatched and decor and bedding felt very old. We would stay in this area again but not at this particular house.
